Need a Flexible Cleaner for your Hard to Reach Cracks and Crevices? Or a simple fun activity for your kiddo?

Try this 3 ingredient simple slime recipe!

After seeing a few slime recipes and trying them out, it took me a little while to figure out the way to accomplish simple slime for the jobs I needed done. Plus watery/slimy/gooey slime is just a mess, no way I`m handing that to my kiddos LOL!

Gather your ingredients:

1 cup of each:

  • dish soap
  • ARGO corn starch
  • water

Mix the corn starch and water together first. Then pour in water slowly while mixing until desired consistency is reached. Using your hand works best to mix them together.

*This wasn`t the first batch or same ingredients we usually use. Dad hit up Dollar General so we could make some at the last minute since we had just ran out of Elmer’s Glue. I was not as happy with the glue and corn starch mixture as getting the consistency just right was a pain with this DG glue. But here’s the experiment:

The Glue Version

Gather your ingredients:

  • 1 cup ARGO Corn Starch
  • 1 cup water
  • 6/8oz Elmer`s Glue

First, mix together corn starch and water using your hand as it can be rather awkward to blend. Then, take that mixture and slowly add in a little glue at a time, blend, add more, blend, and repeat until desired consistency.

*For different jobs, like getting in between fan slots and also the house air vents, sometimes a little more gooey works better and sometimes a firmer slime leaves a nice clean finished area. Experiment a little and see what works best for your textures/fixtures/etc.!

Your welcome! If it turns out too sticky, add a little more water. If too gooey you can add a little more soap to your liking. This one was by far my favorite & least messy!
